How does a website copier work?
The tool requests the page's HTML, finds the images, stylesheets, scripts and fonts it references, and rewrites the paths so they resolve correctly. CloneAnyWeb then bundles everything into a ZIP archive with an index.html file plus assets and images folders.
Can I download React, Next.js or Vue websites?
Modern frameworks often send an almost empty HTML file and build the page with JavaScript in the browser. A basic fetch only sees that empty shell. CloneAnyWeb's Method 2 renders the page in a headless browser first, so you capture the real content. If a site looks blank with Method 1, switch to Method 2 and clone again.
Download a website for offline use
After cloning, click Save ZIP, extract the archive and open index.html. Because assets are bundled locally, the page works without an internet connection, which is useful for travel, documentation or archiving.
Edit the copy before you download
